Long-term Goals

Currently, we are focused on two long-term goals for HSAIS:

The first long-term goal is, in conjunction with the Association of Emory Muslim Alumni (AEMA), to facilitate the establishment of a new full-fledged Islamic Studies Scholarship with enough funding to provide tuition payment and grant allocation to underprivileged international Muslim students (i.e. Afghanistan, Africa, India, Iraq, Pakistan, former Soviet Republics, etc.), thus, allowing the students the ability to attend Emory University and pursue any field of study.

HSAIS can support such a scholarship through having two parts to its annual distribution of funds; the first part will be direct cash payments to the Award recipients and the second part will be a much more significant annual monetary donation to the new full-fledged Islamic Studies Scholarship.

The second long-term goal is to expand HSAIS to both domestic universities, as well as, international universities to encourage the transfer of knowledge across all boundaries.

We appreciate your support and encourage you to visit the contributions page.
